The pattern is derived from the mural of Amitāyurdhyāna Sūtra in Yulin Cave 25, Gansu Province. The picture is a mural of the Tang Dynasty(923-937). The dignified and vivid character makes it a source of inspiration for many dancing designs. The dancer stands on one leg, lifts her other leg and pushes her hip, twists her body shape, opens her arms and plays waist drum. The hooked toes and open fingers reflect the power of the dance. The streamers flying around the dancer make people feel the vivid moment of the dance. The music and dance scene is an important part of the Amitāyurdhyāna Sūtra, which shows the wonderful life of the Western Paradise.
