洪福遠 , 1995

Guanyin Bodhisattva is called Tzu Hang Taoist in Taoism and Guanyin Bodhisattva in Buddhism. She once practiced in Chaoyin cave of Putuo Mountain and vowed to relieve all living beings in the world with pills and manna water, and save them from sufferings. In this picture, Guanyin steps on the lotus seat, symbolizing cleanliness, holding a clean bottle and willow branches, symbolizing the manna water for saving people. Her eyes and eyebrows are kind, her head is full of light, and her body is surrounded by auspicious clouds, which looks sacred and solemn.
